Make-A-Wish is a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to children with critical illnesses, aiming to bring hope, strength, and joy during difficult times.   Each Memorial Day, volunteers gather at Cave Hill Cemetery to place American flags on the graves of veterans, honoring their military service and sacrifice. This tradition serves as a visible tribute of remembrance and respect, bringing the community together to reflect on the cost of freedom.

Wounded Warrior Project provides life-changing programs and services for wounded veterans and their families, including mental health support, benefits assistance, and career resources.
